Working with the external Area Sales Managers to deliver comprehensive customer support. Ensuring regular contact with the customer base within the dedicated geographical area, building personal relationships with the customers to ensure ongoing and repeat business. Promotion of the companies brand, products and services. Awareness of changing legislation in the market . Develop additional and new business through our existing and new customer base via effective communication

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Monitoring customer drop off work with the Area Sales Manager to try to recover trading relationships
  • Convert existing open accounts with nil spend to trade with us
  • Up sell where possible company products and services to existing customers
  • Identifying new prospects, opening new accounts to agreed company margin targets
  • Arranging appointments for the External Area Sales Managers with prospective clients where applicable
  • Following up of promotional campaigns, new product launches and clearance events directly with customers.
  • Follow up quotations issued in the areas.
  • Record customer contact within the company’s CRM systems (SAP Business Partners)
  • Attend monthly team meetings to discuss and share successes and identify other opportunities via Zoom.
  • Attend meetings at head office and off site (Sales Meetings) when required
  • Occasional overnight stays required to attend meetings
  • Visit customers with ASM when required
  • Assist warehouse with product picking when demand requires in season
  • Deputise for delivery drivers covering holidays and illness during season
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s products and their application
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the UK Flue market including its regulation
  • A full UK driving licence is required with no more than 3 penalty points.
