Customer Service Role 

Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm 

Temp – Perm 

Job overview/purpose:

  • To deliver a world class customer experience.
  • To answer queries via the telephone/email and any other forms of communication that becomes available.
  • To enter orders onto SAP in a timely, accurate manner.
  • To liaise with Production/Technical, Carriers and other departments to obtain relevant information to delivery customer requirements.
  • To participate in regular on-going training that is required for both new systems and products that may be introduced.

Key tasks:

  • To ensure that orders  are processed in an accurate and timely manner and customer informed if any deviation from their order.
  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • To answer calls in a confident/professional and timely manner.
  • To support other members of the team to deliver the best result possible.
  • Run back orders either using SAP or Phocas to analyse customer/stock information.
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.

Key Results/Objectives:

  • To deliver the best possible customer experience.
  • To supply answers to customer queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Function as a team and be able to work independently when the need arises.
  • To ensure that orders are on the correct account, they are processed at the correct values and exact to the customer requirements – right first time.
  • Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints.
  • Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer services process.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ in Business Admin would be desirable, but not essential.

Skills/ competencies:

  • Ability to use order processing & associated activities in SAP.
  • Possess a good level of Microsoft Office skills.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Open mindedness to change and show willing to try.
