Credit Controller, Glasgow, 25K+

You are dedicated and driven to maintaining company cash flow and reducing the risk of bad debt through robust processes and controls.

You understand the commercial value of customer relationships and navigating difficult business conversations with professionalism and a long-term view.

You like to be challenged daily and you are looking to take the next step in your credit control career where there is a clear progression path on offer.

Day to day management of several accounts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment will be key in this position.

What does the day to day look like?

• Managing day-to-day cash collection and maintenance of sales ledgers
• Ensuring credit limits and terms are agreed with customers in line with company policy and performing credit risk assessments
• Management and control of customer orders and debtor’s ledger
• Management, reconciliation and reporting on the debtors profile at month-end, year-end and in line with the group financial reporting timetable
• Ensuring reporting deadlines are met and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
