Class Teacher (Transition) for Currie High School Cluster Schools
Based at Juniper Green Primary School

Salary: £27,498 – £41,412
Hours: 35 per week

The Currie High School Cluster are looking for a Transition Teacher.

The Currie High School Cluster includes Currie Community High School, Currie Primary School, Juniper Green Primary School and Nether Currie Primary School 

The Transition Teacher will support learning across P5 to S3 in relation to closing the poverty related attainment gap.  The successful candidate with work with the cluster school team to analyse data and plan interventions to support pupils and will work with the QIEOs for Transition to ensure that we have consistency across the city in P7/S1 Transition.

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed, dynamic, highly motivated and enthusiastic practitioner with relevant experience of delivering excellent learning and teaching.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.

Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
