Claims Handler
Working from home
£23,900 + Benefits
Working shifts between 8am – 6pm
Monday – Friday

The Client:
My client is a national insurance company who due to business growth is looking to recruit an experienced Claims Handler to join them on a full-time permanent basis.
This is a WFH role, where a structured 9-week virtual training programme is implemented to ensure all new starters feel supported throughout.

The Role:
You will join an integral department to their business where you will the first person a customer will speak to in order to initiate an insurance claim.
Duties include:

  • Handling inbound calls from customers who would like to make a claim
  • Assessing claim ensuring accurate information is collated
  • Adhere to company expectation of completing initial claim handling within 72 hours
  • Update CRM with real time information
  • Provide customers with updates via outbound calls and emails
  • Provide a high level of customer service to all customers
  • Signpost customers to ensure their expectations are managed
  • Liaising with internal departments as well a third party companies to collate and share details of claim
  •  
    The Candidate:

  • Previous claims handling experience within any industry
  • Strong service skills
  • Proven track record of working towards KPIs
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • The ability to information gather coupled with an inquisitive mindset
  • Persistent
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask
  • Team player
