Overview

As a Business Coordinator, this role will provide effective support in the establishment and running of the newly forming Children and Young People Programme team.

The vision for the team is to improve services in the South East, delivering better health and wellbeing and closing the inequalities gap for children and young people. The team do this by:

  • Using evidence and data to understand population needs
  • Ensuring the right services are commissioned with partners
  • Improving pathways and access ensuring and ensuring care is delivered closer to home
  • Developing a community of practice
  • Overseeing and supporting delivery

In particular the post holder will provide and coordinate business support / project management

  • Being a highly professional first point of call to the Programme
  • Prioritising tasks efficiently when under pressure
  • Ensure accurate and open communication with a range of organisations and individuals, researching and drafting correspondence and papers.
  • Preparing meeting agendas and taking minutes, and following up action as required
  • Providing efficient and proactive business support including setting regular meetings, diary management and arranging travel
  • Assisting the Programme Manager with specific administrative tasks as delegated from time to time
  • Supporting specific projects to ensure smooth running of groups, communications and answering queries of providing advice
  • Occasional limited travel, typically to London but possibly elsewhere to support meetings
