Job Title: Brand Relationship Specialist

PURPOSE SUMMARY:

The Brand Relationship Specialist will work with specific vehicle brands to price campaigns and provide subsequent analysis of business performance. The Brand Relationship team is the hub of Commercial Activity and therefore the scope of this role is far reaching and will provide a variety of tasks and exposure around the wider business. The role will involve a close working relationship with our brand partners and various internal and external departments, including our Italian Headquarters.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Pricing and negotiation of finance campaigns in accordance with profitability objectives, commercial objectives and brand spend requirements.

  2. Accurate implementation of campaigns into the POS system Genus meeting the required quarterly timelines. This includes the formal subsidy sheet approval process, creation of product sheets, working with the pricing team to ensure they are loaded & set up in Genus correctly & completing relevant testing.

  3. Analyse and report on various business statistics (including but not limited to finance renewals, sales performance, model performance & campaign performance) using various reporting tools – both internally and with the brands. The analysis should be used to help influence future strategies in line with business priorities.

  4. Review existing reporting that is distributed by the team looking for improvements & gaps in data or insights we can provide. Develop new reporting as & when required by the business.

  5. Analyse the market, keeping a close eye on trends and new ideas/innovations.

  1. Be a point of contact for various Sales, Marketing and Reporting functions, to support and develop the relationship with them.

  2. Build a strong, collaborative working relationship with the Field Sales Team to achieve solid commercial awareness of the wider business and our Retail network within head office.

  3. Assist with the onboarding of any new brand to the business.

  4. Support the Brand Relationship Manager in special projects and adhoc requests.

Reports to: Brand Relationship & Direct Sales Manager

Travel: This is primarily an office/home based role, but may require some national travel from time to time

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS:

Ideally educated to degree level standard, or equivalent.

Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, graphs & formulas (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS etc. for data analysis), PowerPoint and Word is essential for this role.

Very good working knowledge of Business Objects & Genus is desirable but not essential.

Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively at all levels up to and including directors.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A high degree of self-motivation and time management skills with ability to manage multiple work streams & prioritise accordingly. The ability to think independently & with a problem solving/process improvement mindset.

A keen interest in data analysis.

An in-depth knowledge of retail automotive finance, insurance products, car dealership sales practices and processes, and finance company processes is highly desired.
