The Education Network is currently recruiting for an experienced Behaviour Mentor who is able to provide classroom based support for students that no longer attend mainstream schools. As a Behaviour Mentor you will be working on a 1-2-1 or small group basis with students who have exhibited challenging behaviours. The school is looking for a patient and empathetic individual who is able to demonstrate a track record of successfully working with challenging behaviour.

The school itself caters for students who have been excluded from mainstream education. It provides a second chance for students, and the friendly team of staff are dedicated to making a difference. Challenging behaviour is one of your primary focusses, however you will enjoy the opportunity to take part in whole school activities, have access to training, and feel like part of the team.

This School is focussed on making a difference, and in order to make an impact you will need to:

  • Have experience as a Behaviour Mentor
  • Have the desire to make a difference in the lives of young people
  • Have experience working with ASD, ADHD, EBD or SEMH
  • Understand the needs of individual students
  • Enjoy working with challenging behaviour
