About the Job
The role is for a global Tech for Good software provider and they’re on a mission: dedicated to improving millions of lives through building technology that is truly awesome.
They have been building traction ever since releasing their first app over 10 years ago & now partner with some of the biggest names in the Healthcare industry.
And, they need a Backend NodeJS Developer to join their mission and help build and maintain applications used by millions.
You can choose how little or how much you work in the office. It’s the results that matter. My client provides the option of working fully remote in the UK or from their contemporary head office located in Bournemouth.
If you care about the ‘why’ behind projects, this is genuinely unique opportunity to work on a range of exciting tech for good projects that have a positive impact on people’s quality of life.
You’ll be working in their backend pod of 6 developers and be part of a larger team of over 25 Developers. The team is constantly sharing knowledge, you’ll work closely with the senior developers and get support from the team lead.
The role provides the opportunity to progress into a senior or team lead position, helping mentor junior developers. Also, you have the option of cross training and getting commercial experience with wider technologies that interest you such as Go or in mobile development.
You’ll join one of the truest meritocracies I’ve seen, working with brilliant developers who will push you to your peak.
What experience must you have to land this job?
They have one non-negotiable and that’s you have at least 1-2 years commercial experience using NodeJS and web frameworks such as Express, Nest or Adonis. This position wouldn’t suit a graduate or junior developer.
If you have this experience, keep reading to find out what your new typical day may look like as a NodeJS Developer.
Your day may look a bit like this…
- Support the frontend & mobile teams to build and maintain applications
