About the role

An exciting opportunity for an App Developer has arisen with a growing tech and business communications company on the Isle of Man.  The business is innovative, energetic and growing fast.

They are seeking a professional, efficient individual with a can-do attitude to join their Sys Ops team. The role holder will be responsible for developing new features in and maintaining the application and other Android or iPhone applications the company may require development of in the future.

Key responsibilities

  • Designing and building mobile applications for Android and iOS.
  • Collaborating with the SysOpsHead of New Product Development to define app features.
  • Ensuring quality and performance of the application to specifications.
  • Identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks.
  • Fixing application bugs before the final release.
  • Publishing application on App Store.
  • Maintaining the code and atomization of the application.
  • Designing and implementing application updates.

Skills and experience

  • The successful candidate will have a proven record in Android and iOS application development.
  • A can-do attitude, prepared to go the extra mile.
  • Lots of energy, a team player who can work off their own initiative.
  • A heightened sense of urgency.
