Salary £22000 to £25000 plus benefits. 40 hour week. Monday to Friday. 28 days holiday including bank holidays plus other excellent company benefits.
Car Owner Driver due to location
Our established product supply client are looking for an additional member to join their team within a busy friendly purchasing department- the role will require a strong communicator with accuracy and attention to detail. Solid experience of Excel – knowledge in a purchasing department helpful not essential
Checking all supplier order acknowledgements, within 2 hours of receipt and updating any required information whilst reporting back to the Purchasing Manager any issues with the orders.
- Liaising with the suppliers regarding any discrepancies regarding the order acknowledgements
- Altering data in the system to reflect product price increases and informing the wider team, along with customers it will affect
- Sending all supplier returns (including those that have been returned from customers)
- Placing all orders on the system for all stock to ensure that the items never fall below minimum.
- Providing support for company document updating.
- Creating new supplier accounts on the system/database
- Updating any supplier information when relevant
- Disposal or redistribution of obsolete stock
- Other required administrative jobs for the purchasing team
