The University of West London (UWL) has been named University of the Year for Student Experience in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021. The editor of the Guide has described UWL as “regularly among the top-performing universities’ and that we have ‘proved it is possible for a London-based institution to achieve outstanding levels of student satisfaction beyond other universities”.

The Department

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the core professional administrative team within the Registry department. The post holder will provide high quality administrative services for a particular school or college and deliver a range of core activities, acting as the focus for students, staff and Professional Bodies, including managing assessment boards and course committee meetings.

The Role

You will cover a range of duties and undertake the administration of a range of courses under our Higher and Further education provision. Establishing yourself as a point of contact for specific university courses and external users of the team, you will be expected to demonstrate excellent data organisation and communication skills and build positive and effective relationships with the wider University community, students and stakeholders including our external bodies.

The Person

The successful candidates will be confident individuals who will work closely with both the student and academic community. Applicants will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be highly motivated to operate in a dynamic and busy environment, while maintaining the highest standard of customer service. Previous experience in a higher education environment or being educated to degree level is essential.
