We have a new vacancy now available for an efficient Payroll administrator to join an Accounts team of a Salisbury based Finance firm.

This role can be either hybrid or WFH with occasional meetings required at the office and can also bespoke the hours to suit.

We are looking for a candidate who has some previous tax experience within a practice environment who has worked with old fashioned tax tables or has a recent payroll qualification.

The role will focus around Payroll support, from processing payroll on a regular basis to handling payroll enquiries, liaising with third parties where necessary.

Some key responsibilities to include:

  • To answer clearly all payroll and PAYE queries to pensioners

  • Download output from payroll system and reconcile to taxes bank account and resolve any differences that may arise

  • Reconcile payroll to HMRC account and resolve any issues

  • Upload csv files prepared by client to payroll system for processing

  • Download data from CRM system and upload into Xero, and then reconcile bank account (Xero training will be provided)

  • Provide support to the Finance Director where required.

Candidates with a Payroll qualification or previous Tax exp should apply
