Let me tell you about our new eCommerce Customer Account Manager role in our new, and fast growing, eCommerce Customer Business Unit.

This role will be key to accelerating growth with a number of our Pure Play eCommerce customers and lead the development of both our Family Care and Personal Care brands in this exciting, high growth space.

  • Let’s get into the detail of the role:

  • Build and implement plans with Amazon that deliver budgeted NSV, volume and profit growth.
  • Negotiate and agree JBPs across our Pure Play customers and develop new business in areas/channels not currently serviced by the business.
  • Work with Supply Chain to closely manage availability and find ways to drive operational efficiencies across our Pure Play customers.
  • Launch NPD with effectiveness across the priority Pure Play customers.
  • Work with Marketing and other cross-functional teams to deliver Superior In-Market Execution.
  • Build and manage search campaigns to ensure KC ‘Wins’ the search battle and continues to drive a higher share of search across priority search terms.
  • Build the events + promotional calendar with our Pure Play customers.
  • Educate the wider business on the uniqueness of customers in the Pure Play arena and the opportunities and challenges associated with this.
  • Develop a programme of Test & Learn initiatives. Champion the ‘Big Wins’ and share these with other account teams.
  • Establish and maintain solid business relationships within the customer organisation and ensure we have the contact strategy to ‘Unlock Full Potential’ in the Pure Play space.
  • Part of a team responsible for developing the overall eCommerce strategic transformation, providing you with a chance to learn and develop from a team of dedicated eCommerce experts.
     
  • What are we looking for?

  • Ideally you’ll be degree educated but this is not essential.
  • We need you to have prior account management experience within FMCG and a solid understanding of the different eCommerce growth levers e.g. Winning in Search, Imagery, Title Optimisation, Ratings & Reviews etc.
  • Experience of sales forecasting and profit modelling for your own business and retailer along with knowledge of Category, Shopper and Consumer data sources is required.
  • Strength in data analysis and the ability to translate retailer performance + supply chain data into actionable insight.
  • To excel in this role, you need to be able to demonstrate strong commercial awareness and judgement as well an engage multiple stakeholder groups across the business on the uniqueness of Amazon and the opportunities it presents for our brands.
  • If you have broader experience in eCommerce that would be a bonus!
