Job Title: Yardhand

Salary: £18,700 per annum

Location: Sittingbourne

Hours: Contracted to 40 hours per week

Contract: 6 month FTC

Flogas British Ltd are actively recruiting for a yard hand to join their site at Sittingbourne. Reporting to the Site Manager you will be a member of the site/filling team and will support each other and work together to maintain Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinder stocks and provide an efficient turnaround of vehicles whilst maintaining health & safety standards at the site.

The Role

  • Filling of LPG cylinders in accordance with company standards & codes of practice
  • Ensuring cylinder filling stocks meets with supply & demand
  • Loading and unloading of cylinders on vehicles and trailers
  • Handling of heavy objects.

  • Have a positive attitude towards Health & Safety
  • Able to multitask effectively
  • Able to demonstrate numeracy and literacy skills
  • Able to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues at all levels
  • Able to handle heavy objects
